Rhode Island Regional Swap #1

Hi Stampers!

I'm back from the Rhode Island Regional Event.  What an amazing time!  I came home so inspired!  It's definitely one of the best perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I did quite a bit of swapping while I was out at the Regional.  Today I'm going to show you the first swap I made.

This is a really easy CAS (Clean And Simple) card to make.  I love that it features all five of our new In Colors.  For a little extra glitz I added the Basic Rhinestones!

Here's a close up of the sentiment tag.  I sponged the ends of it with Midnight Muse and popped it up on dimensionals to make it stand out on the white background.

Swap Prep Tip!
If you are swapping a card like this (whether with your stamping friends or at an event) the best way to go about it is to stamp all the images of one color first.  Also stamp the lightest color first.  So I went about making these cards by stamping all of the Summer Starfruit flowers first, followed by the Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, etc.

Wouldn't this make a great birthday or get well soon card as well?  How would you take it to the next level?

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Gumball Green
Stamps: Betsy's Blossoms, Sweet Essentials
Ink: Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse
Other: Modern Label Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Sponge Dauber, Dimensionals

Rhode Island Regional Swap Sneak 1

One of the best perks about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is getting to go to the events that are held.  Tomorrow I'm going to be driving up to Providence for the Rhode Island Regional!  I made a few swaps to trade with my fellow demos.  I can't wait to see what everyone has made and just soak up all of the creativity!

Here's a sneak peak at one of the swaps I made.  The full reveal will be shown on the blog next week after the regional is over.

Thanks for looking!  Check back tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Raspberry Ripple Thank You

Morning everyone!  I'm busy here getting ready for the Providence Regional!  Make sure you keep an eye on the blog because I will be posting pictures of my swaps after the event...

Every year, I host an "In Color Club" where my customers get a pack of In Color goodies every month.   I always like to include a little thank you as my way of letting them know how much I appreciate their business.  This month's color is  Raspberry Ripple !  It's such a beautiful, rich color.  Here's the card I made for my customers.

And a close up to see the dimension on the flower!

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple
Stamps: Betsy's Blossoms, Curly Cute
Ink: Raspberry Ripple
Punches: 3/16" corner, 1" Circle, Fancy Flower, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle
