New Product Sneak Peek!

For the 2012-2013 Stampin' season, Stampin' Up! is changing up the date of the main catalog release....to June!  You are going to be able to get your catalog one whole month earlier!!!!  Today I have a sneak peek for you of a suite of products that will be available in the new catalog June 1st.  Want to know something even better?  You will have the chance to pre-order these items from April 1 - 30th.  See more details at the bottom of this post.

Ack!  Isn't this just the cutest????  The new products are all from the Summer Smooches Suite.  Today I am featuring 3 new products.  Do you know what they are???

If you have attended my classes in the past you  may have had the chance to make a Hershey Nugget purse.  Well, this new die allows you to make one that's even bigger.  This purse can hold 3 Nuggets!  Or Hershey Kisses!  Or even a Chap Stick!  (Don't worry, I ran the experiment to make sure it fit.)

How beautiful are these colors?  So bright and cheery.  They make me long for summer days and the beach!  To check out the full suite of products that you can pre-order see this flyer.  Most of the products will be in the catalog in June except for the new brads and stencil.  Those are only available in April and are gorgeous!!!!  (Did I mention that the brads are fabric covered???)  Contact me at sarahbeth46@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to place a order!

Simply Scored Class Part 3

Hi Everyone!  I'm back with the third post of projects from my Simply Scored class.  I just love the Tea Shoppe stamp set that is in the Occasions mini catalog.  My favorite image from the set is the large tea cup that has images of pansies on it.  It's so elegant!  I wanted to go a little outside of my comfort zone with the color combo on this project: Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, and Rich Razzleberry.  Three bright, bold colors that really complement each other well.  I also wanted to play around with textures, so I used some textured card stock as well as the 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon which has a very distinct texture to the threads as you can see.  This tea bag holder would make a wonderful favor for a tea party themed shower or as a sweet "get well soon" wish for someone.

This favor can be quickly and easily created using the Simply Scored tool.  Here's a picture of the interior.  It can hold up to 2 tea bags!  I chose Earl Grey and a Chai for some spice!

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: Peach Parfait Textured, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Brights Patterns
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz
Stamps: Tea Shoppe
Other: Simply Scored tool, Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Poly Stitch Ribbon, Modern Label punch, Basic Pearls
