On Stage Swap #1

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing with you one of the swaps I made for On Stage Local.  I made a clean and simple card front using the Acorny Thank You stamp set paired with the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I used the "Dropping In to Say Hi" sentiment because, even though I have acorns on the front, I didn't want the card to be overly Autumnal in theme.

To add some interest to the acorns, I did some heat embossing.  The new Copper Stampin' Emboss powder is one of my favorite things.  I use it all of the time.  It's such a refreshing new metallic shade to use.  The coordinating punch lets you cut out the acorns super fast and easy.  No fussy cutting and no need to lug out the Big Shot!

There are some amazing deals!  Go check out what's on sale this month with Stampin' Up!

Lacy & Lovely Class IV

Hi Stampers!

Today I have the last card from my Lacy & Lovely class.  This is another card inspired from the Create with Connie and Mary blog.  I changed up the color scheme and embellishments a little bit to put my spin on it a little.

This card was all about layering!  I love pairing up this stamp set with the Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper pack.  I think the unique designs on the paper really complement the images in the stamp set.

As always, the supplies needed to create a card like this can be purchased in my Stampin' Up! shop.  Contact me today to find out how you can make cards just like this one!

Sent With Love

Hi Stampers!

I finally got around to playing with the stamps and Designer Series paper from the Sent with Love product suite.  I love the color combo on the papers - Island Indigo, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Real Red...it's just a fun combo to work with.

One of the paper designs has all of these fun little tags that you can cut out.  Of course, you can just use the paper as is and it would be fabulous, but we stampers love to alter things!  So in this card, I cut out one of the tags, matted it, and stamped my sentiment.  It made for a no-brainer embellishment!

These items are only available until April 30th.  Click on the promotions tab at the top of the page for more information on how to order the stamps and paper, or how to save 15% by purchasing the bundle!

Thanksgiving Friendship Preserves Day 3

Happy Thanksgiving, Stampers!!!

The big day is finally here!  I can't wait to spend the morning in my jammies, sipping coffee, and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!  Then it's off to not one, but two turkey dinners for me and my hubby.  Today I am thankful for family, for friends, for pets, for having a job that allows me to be able to travel, and for having such a fun hobby as stamping!  In honor of Thanksgiving, I have decided to show a Thank You card!  I always have a stash of thank yous on hand because you never know when you will need one.  And who says, you need to send one for a particular reason?  I think some of the best thank you cards are the ones that say, "Hey, I'm thinking about you. Thank you for being my friend!" :-)

Psst! I used Elegant Eggplant on this card.  Not many people use this color, which is sad because it's so beautiful!

Stampin' Supplies:

Cardstock: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
DSP: Brights Designer Series Paper Stack
Stamps: Friendship Preserves
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Window Frames Framelits, Festive Paper Piercing Pack, Piercing Tool, Piercing Mat, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Basic Pearls, Sponge Dauber

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
