Engagement Card and Custom Made Envie!

Hi Stampers!

Today I have a card that was really fun to make using the Best of Brides and Babies stamp set.  I did some very simple watercoloring on the image using my Aquapainter and my ink pads.  It was so easy and I was so happy with how it came out!

I used my envelope punch board to make a custom envelope to match the card and I use a fun alpha set to stamp their names on the envie.

I like using the Designer Series Paper for creating envelopes because it is double sided.  You instantly have a fun design "lining" your envelope!

Brides and Babies Stamp a Stack Day 3

Hi Stampers!

Today I'm posting another card that we made at my Brides and Babies Stamp a Stack.  This is the last wedding themed card that we made.  Soon I'll be posting the baby cards!

For this card, I got the original idea from the Stamping Rox my Fuzzy Blue Sox blog.  I changed it up a little bit and added in the sentiment from the One in a Million Stamp Set.

Brides and Babies Stamp A Stack Day 2

Hi Stampers!

I'm back with another card that I made for my Brides and Babies Stamp a Stack.  I originally called this a punch art card, but I think it's more like a Big Shot art card as almost all of the parts are cut using the Big Shot.  Oh well!  I do love my Big Shot!!!

To make the gown, I cut an oval out of Whisper White and then I cut the oval across (about 2/3 of the way down if you hold the oval vertically).  This gives you the lacy looking edge.  Then attach a heart cut using the Hearts Collection Framelits and put a sash around the "waist".  Very easy!

Stampin' Supplies:
Card Stock: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Marina Mist, Brushed Silver
Punches: Scallop Trim Border, Boho Blossoms
Big Shot: Oval Framelits, Hearts Collection Framelits, Finishing Touches Edgelits
Embellishments: Basic Pearls, Marina Mist 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon

Embellished Events Day 2

HELLO!!!

It's day 2 of my Embellished Events card class.  I am always inspired by cards I see posted by other demos.  Today's card is a case of one originally done by Mary Fish.  I changed up the colors and embellishments to make it my own.  I love using the Pool Party card stock on this one.  It's the perfect shade of "Tiffany" blue and is great for something blue on a wedding card.  Sahara Sand is such a perfect champagne color and I really need to use it more often!

Here's a close up of the new ribbon slides in the Holiday catalog.  They are a really fun embellishment for your cards and projects!
