Happy Hello Week 2

Hi Stampers!

I'm back with my second post featuring the Happy Hello Sale-A-Bration kit.  Today I'm showing you how you can use the cards to make fun 3D projects.  With just a few extras, you can really bump up the level of awesome on these projects!

The Happy Hello kit is one of the exclusive SAB offerings and will only be available until March 22nd.  Best of all, it is free with a $50 purchase!

The Happy Hello Kit includes the following:

4 cards w/ "hello!" sentiment
4 cards w/o sentiment
8 coordinating envelopes
Two sheets of adhesive embellishments
Basic Gray Bakers Twine
Basic Rhinestones

For today's project I also used the following:
Daffodil Delight Card Stock
Ornament Punch
1/16" Circle Punch
Simply Scored Tool

I used four ornament shapes to make a larger flower, then used the flower embellishment that comes with the kit as the center.

To make this little holder, I scored the card an inch on either side of the pre-scored line.  I also used a piece of cardboard (like what comes in the Specialty Designer Series Paper packaging or kits) as a support on the bottom.  Then I decorated and added some small punched holes at the top.  I bagged up a chocolate covered pretzel, wrapped the holder around the bag, and tied the baker's twine through.  Quick and easy!

Click here if you missed Monday's post, and stay tuned for a final project on Friday!

Sale-A-Bration Open House

Hi Stampers!

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing!  Don't you just love all of the free products that you can earn with your Sale-A-Bration qualifying purchases?  They are awesome!  Yesterday I held my open house.  It was an opportunity for my customers to come and try out some new products, look at the Sale-A-Bration items, win door prizes, and make a card!  Here are some pictures of how I set up my condo for the Open House.

I made up a little inspiration corner filled with project samples featuring products from the SAB and 2013 Spring Catalogs.

Here is a close up of my product boards.  I'm trying to find some new ways to display cards.  If you have any tips or ides, leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear from you!

I was able to use up some of my retired cardstock by making this cute Sale-A-Bration banner!  Banners are so easy to create with the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die.

This little station was chock full of info for my customers...class updates, Best of 25 Collectors Cards, Stamp Clubs, Single Stamps, and a station to play with the Big Shot and some of the new distressing tools!

This tiny space was used for the door prizes and a small Book to Look display!

Another "try it out" station featuring the Simply Scored, Stampin' Trimmer, and Tabletop Paper Cutter!  My customers have been raving over the Stampin' Trimmer!  It's a must have!  (Notice the lovely sage green paint on my walls???? Yeah, that was finished on Friday night at midnight.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute for the Souza household :-)

This is my favorite station!  It's the Make and Take Station!  Here is a link to the card made for the Make and Take: CLICK HERE

Finally, I set up my laptop with the My Paper Pumpkin website open in case anyone wanted more information on these adorable little kits!

And last, but certainly not least, the refreshments!  What would a SU event be without delicious treats?  My compliments go out to the Cookies & Cups blog for the recipe for the Reeses Peanut Butter Banana Bread.  It was phenomenal!

I hope that you enjoyed the little sneak peek into one of my SU events!  If you would like to know more about my events, email me at sarah@demmeni.org and I can add you to my mailing list!  Have a great week fill with craftiness!
